Paint the Town Red is said to have its origins from a drunken night out in 1837. The slightly eccentric Marquis of Waterford and his aristocrat friends went on a spree through Melton Mowbray after a few too many ales at the races, painting buildings, and a few locals, with red paint. 

Delivery

To ensure our chilled products are out of refrigeration for as little time as possible, we deliver all of our goods via DHL's tracked next-day 24hr courier service. We are only able to deliver to England and Wales mainland addresses, which excludes Ireland, Scotland, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands.

Items are packed into sustainable cardboard boxes insulated with fleece liners for truly eco-friendly packaging and frozen ice packs to help maintain temperature during shipping.

Delivery days are Tuesday – Friday. Our courier typically delivers between 8.30am - 5.30pm. If nobody is available, it may be left safe place.

Please note our pork pies and sausages are usually delivered with a life of 6 days.
