Description

Dating back to 1851, our shop still remains at the heart of Melton Mowbray where we began making pies by hand. Grab yourself a limited edition fridge magnet showing the outside of the shop.

Delivery

To ensure our chilled products are out of refrigeration for as little time as possible, we deliver all of our goods via DHL's tracked next-day 24hr courier service. We are only able to deliver to England and Wales mainland addresses, which excludes Ireland, Scotland, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands.

Items are packed into sustainable cardboard boxes insulated with fleece liners for truly eco-friendly packaging and frozen ice packs to help maintain temperature during shipping.

Delivery days are Tuesday – Friday. Our courier typically delivers between 8.30am - 5.30pm. If nobody is available, it may be left safe place.

Please note our pork pies and sausages are usually delivered with a life of 6 days.

A MUST VISIT FOR PORK PIE CONNOISSEURS.

"Visited from 150 miles away and well worth it. Easy parking nearby with sign posts to the shoppe. Entered the larger than expected shoppe. The aroma , décor and atmosphere a delight . The huge range of pies sausages cheeses bread chutneys astounding. But with no fridge just bought a pie despite being very much tempoted by the very generous free samples. You pay upon exiting like ye olde trust worthy days ,that's where the large range of merchandise is . I was distracted by a rare beer that I have been pursuing for several years . The Trappist beer ,Tynt Meadow. Tried to use the discount sent by clare but the young man stated he had never heard of such a thing. . That evening . back in my tent ,dark ,windy ,raining cold ,ate a hearty feast of pie n beer. Should have bought moor and a fridge magnet . A MUST VISIT."
