British Pie Week 3rd-9th March celebrates Britain's most important contribution to world food heritage, the pie. We eat over £1billion of them every year, hot-cold, sweet-savoury and now gluten free, vegan, fusion! It's one of the most important weeks of the year for us at Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe. We celebrated by re-launching our delicious limited edition pork pie, The Best of Melton, online and in the Shoppe to customers delight! To top it all off, The British Pie Awards takes place in St. Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray where over 800 pies battle it out to become the ‘Pie of Pies’ or Supreme Champion. The prestigious awards was a huge success for us and we couldn't be more proud of the team!
